Grape Expectations: Wine Tasting, Silent and Live Auction with Dinner and Music

Samaritan Inn, a 501(c) 3 not for profit organization, is recognized throughout Sussex County and the State of New Jersey as a leader in providing temporary to permanent housing, food, community case management and emergency shelter to homeless families and individuals regardless of age, sex, race, or religion. Funding for our organization comes from both public and private sources. In addition to our Annual Appeal, we rely on fundraising events to help us to reach our annual financial goal. One of our largest fundraisers of the year is our signature wine tasting/auction event called “Grape Expectations”.
The Grape Expectations event will be held at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, NJ on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 3:00-6:30 pm. The cost is $80 per person which includes wine tasting, a sit-down dinner, open bar, and silent and live auction.
Auction Items Include: Get Away Trips, Electronics, Designer Handbags, Sports Tickets, Gift Cards, Holiday Items, Latest Kitchen Appliances & Cookware, Entertainment Tickets, Jewelry, Children’s’ Gifts and much more…
We are seeking your support of this great auction event and here are several ways that you may do so:
- Attend and participate in the event
- Donate an auction Item (items must be a value of $100 or more)
- Place an ad in the Grape Expectations Auction Journal
- Become a Grape Expectations Sponsor of the Event
- Make a monetary donation online or by check
All auction items are listed in The Auction Journal which is distributed to all attendees and advertisers for the event. This book also includes advertisements from individuals, businesses, and organizations from the community. Sponsors and anyone making monetary donations will have their names listed as a donor in our Auction Booklet. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to publicize your business while helping to support Samaritan Inn. Enclosed you will find a form to purchase an advertisement. Completed forms, with artwork and payment, must be returned to Samaritan Inn by Friday October 7, 2022. Anyone purchasing tickets or making monetary donations can do so online through Pay Pal or may send check(s) made payable to Samaritan Inn.
